The simplest way we can lighten our climate impact is by shifting to a more sustainable diet. Our non-profit, the Electrolux Food Foundation, has created an online space to inspire us to do just that. Introducing Replate.com.
Inspiring sustainable food choices
Although scientists agree that shifting to a sustainable diet is one of the best things people can do to help our planet, today there still exists a knowledge gap around how much positive impact shifting to a plant-based diet would have for people.* And while there’s plenty of information readily available about why sustainable eating makes sense, the science around it can be complicated.
The Electrolux Food Foundation, our non-profit organization, is helping address these issues with ‘Replate.com’, a simple, fun and interactive online platform that breaks down the research to encourage a rethink of food choices to make a positive difference to the health of our bodies and that of our planet.

Replate.com is intended as a ‘one-stop-shop’ to help those interested in or even new to the topic of sustainable eating and cooking to effortlessly access all the facts, stats and need-to-knows. It also features inspirational stories, chefs’ hacks and tips as well as recipes to help start or maintain a sustainable eating lifestyle.
Replate.com launched in 2021 with the themes ‘Eat More Plants’ and ‘Waste Less Food’, exploring how you can shift to more sustainable food habits. The site was developed with the support of the Foundation’s partners Worldchefs, a dynamic global network of more than 100 chef associations, and AIESEC, the world’s largest youth-led organization.
