We strive to develop enhanced food preservation solutions that can help reduce food waste and ensure food quality; cooking techniques that can help to preserve nutrients; and product solutions that can enhance more sustainable living by providing practical support and advice.

Work to reduce food waste in every way we can.
One third of all food produced in the world is lost or thrown out — creating over one billion tons of food waste every year. This represents not only a massive waste of resources such as water, land, and energy, but also contributes significantly to global greenhouse gas emissions. (Source: Food Waste Index Report 2024)
We strive to drive awareness and inspire change around food waste in consumers’ homes.
Part of this means constantly exploring new solutions for storing, preparing and preserving food to keep it as fresh as possible for as long as possible.
Another part is inspiring consumers and nudging them toward more sustainable behavior. We share practical knowledge on how everyone can reduce food waste in their own kitchens, by showing ways to store food, as well as how to prepare delicious snacks and meals with ingredients and leftovers that might otherwise be discarded.
To increase the impact beyond our operations, we will continue to create conversation around the food waste issue and join forces with partners in industry and society who share our passion and commitment to drive meaningful change.

Inspire more plant-based eating and minimize nutrition loss in cooking.
We believe we can make healthy eating more desirable, more accessible and simply effortless.
One important aspect of this is encouraging people to choose more plant-based foods. To do this, we want to raise awareness of both the environmental damage caused by the food industry and decreased nutrition in modern diets to help consumers make more healthy and sustainable choices when it comes to what food they buy and eat.
At the same time, we will continue to develop preservation solutions and cooking methods that enhance plant-based eating to encourage consumers to move towards a diet that is kinder on both health and the planet.
We’ll also continue with our community investment efforts to inspire sustainable eating and cooking and help people in need through our Electrolux Food Foundation and its global partners.
Enhance the experience of eating sustainably through enriched tastes, textures and colors.
We want to improve the tastes, textures and colors of sustainable, healthy foods to make people consciously choose them as their preferred option.
To enhance the taste experience for the consumer, we will explore exciting new possibilities of the connected kitchen and introduce innovations that make it enjoyable and effortless to create healthy meals.
With our culinary knowledge and expertise, we will also work with chefs to develop and launch recipes that introduce new and exciting tastes to the food palette and help consumers to choose perfect alternatives to unhealthy or carbon-intensive meal choices.
By improving the food experience through new tastes and connected cooking technologies, we can encourage healthy eating habits that are more enjoyable than ever before.
