Introduce Electrolux and AEG EcoLine, a selection of the company’s most energy-efficient appliances in Europe

We’re responding to shifts in consumer preferences and helping consumers to find our most energy-efficient models with the introduction of our Electrolux and AEG EcoLine selection.

Saving energy with every use

We know that consumer awareness and consideration for energy usage has increased significantly across all age groups. Globally, two out of three consumers consider sustainability an important factor when buying electrical appliances.[1]

We also know that approximately 85% [2] of the global climate impact of an appliance, during its lifespan, is generated when it is in use.

In response, Electrolux Group introduced Electrolux and AEG EcoLine – a dedicated selection, in-store and online, of the company’s most energy-efficient kitchen and laundry appliances and most efficiently performing home care appliances in Europe. These products are aimed at helping consumers to reduce climate impact while providing high-quality performance.

Electrolux and AEG EcoLine kitchen and laundry appliances are selected based on having our highest range of EU energy ratings, when a label is available. Kitchen products that do not have energy labels, such as hobs, are selected for their energy efficiency features. Home care products, such as air purifiers and vacuum cleaners, are selected for their effortless efficiency features and/or use of recycled materials.

Presented in 2023, Electrolux and AEG EcoLine has technical innovation at the heart of every model and the selection covers all the main product categories – ensuring it meets the needs of the entire home:

Within laundry, Electrolux and AEG EcoLine washers perform better in terms of energy efficiency than the minimum requirement to achieve the best A EU energy class rating that is available. Depending on model, they also have features that can help save resources such as AutoDose, which can help save detergent, and UltraWash, which cleans efficiently at 30ºC and saves up to 30% energy.[3]

Electrolux and AEG EcoLine tumble dryers with heat pump technology can save up to 68% more energy versus a traditional tumble dryer. [4]

Ovens from the Electrolux and AEG EcoLine selection can help retain minerals and vitamins while using up to 20% less energy when cooking with steam [5], and a steam cleaning function saves up to 95% energy versus pyro cleaning.[6]

The new AEG 7000 cordless cleaner is made with up to 70% recycled plastic from all plastics used. When using Auto Mode, it can save up to 47% energy and prolong running time.[7]

Other appliances included in Electrolux and AEG EcoLine are hobs, hoods, dishwashers, free-standing cookers and air purifiers.
