The Team of Change-Makers

Exploring solutions for tomorrow

We have put together the Team of Change-Makers to explore solutions for better living. The team is a collaboration between young minds who want to be at the forefront of positive change, experts at Electrolux, and leading change-makers already making a difference today.

From a pool of online applicants, we invited eight youths from various parts of the world to join a series of digital exploration sessions. These sessions are held with the aim of finding sustainable solutions for better living in 2030 – and beyond.

Sophia Lindfield, 18, Canada

“I would say the biggest threat is continuing mindless consumerism.”

Francesco Bazzana, 18, Italy

“We do not need incredible futuristic technologies to make a difference, the solutions are here and we just have to implement them”

Morgane Philippe, 18, Czech Republic

“We have the capacity and the scientific progress to be able to accomplish anything, but we must above all change our behavior”

Beatrise Rådman, 18, Sweden

“Being angry is not going to solve our problems – we need to have everyone on board!”

Luma Palheta de Azevedo, 20, Brazil

“I believe our biggest threat is going to be the lack of natural resources due to human action”

Beatriz Silva de Almeida Barros, 20, Brazil

“Humanity needs to learn to roll with the powerful patterns of nature rather than trying to change them to our advantage”

Justine Underhill, 20, Australia

“Collective education, advocacy and most importantly radical action are the urgent antidotes to climate change”

Benyapa Chaemchoy, 20, Thailand

“We need to stop the way of living that is exploiting and contaminating the environment as soon as possible”

We asked almost 14,000 young people to share their hopes and ambitions for better living. Download the Change-Maker’s Report here:
